The popular Instagram photo-sharing app has a new website where users can log in and see their feeds and recent photos ? previously only possible from within the app.
The news came via Instagram's official blog, where founder Kevin Systrom explains why the company decided to forgo the "mobile-only experience" it has pursued since their 2010 launch:
We believe that you should be able to access Instagram on a variety of different devices, any of which may be convenient to you at a given moment ? including your desktop computer or tablet.
It's still mostly one-way, though: While you can like or comment on photos, you can't upload any. After all, the whole idea of the service is to put up pictures you've taken while out and about.
Head over to Instagram.com to log in.
